Beginning. The theme drives me thinking the beginning of the most important thing: life. In Cividale del Friuli, during Easter days, in the squares, children play “Truc”.

It is a very ancient game, and you can play it using boiled chicken eggs. You let your egg run down on a up side down bent tile, in a sanded enclosure. You have to try to hit other eggs. If you hit one or more eggs, the owner pays you what already agreed for his “liberation”, and waits for his turn, while you are playing again.

As all games, also this one is the first approach for children to socialize, and it’s also the first training for beginning to mediate the unavoiable differences.

“Truc”, Easter, Resurrection, New Life: just like those taken in care by my friend Enzo Col acino, valuable paediatrist and neonathologist. By the way, can you find him?

ITALIANO.

Beginning, l’inizio.
