June 2006 was the coldest for over 30 years in New Zealand. During the week there had been two major snow storms in the south, along with heavy rain and winds in the central regions. With the weather clearing, Brigite was out in the garden tidying up from the storms and preparing for the coming spring. The micro climate in the bay provides areas for her native trees, rock garden and the sea of daisies during mid winter. Gardening is one of Brigite's passions that she loves to share with her visitors.Location
