I wanted to show people that earn their money, when others are having fun. I have chosen the band at the Ochsenbraterei beer tent at the Oktoberfest 2007. The band playing well known hits and lots of beer are the main reasons, why most of the guests stand on their seats dancing after some hours.
However in this panorama it is about ten minutes after opening the "Wies'n", as the locals call the Oktoberfest. This is why most of the people in the tent are still waiting for their first beer and most of the guests are still sitting on their seats.

Trivia

The Ochsenbraterei tent is on the Oktoberfest since 1881.
About 6000 seats are inside and 1600 outside the tent.
It takes about ten weeks to build the tent and five weeks to disassemble it.
