The Catacomb Monument is of unique value and significance, located inside the town ramparts and is entirely carved out of stone.

In the late 14th and early 15th Centuries, when the town experienced exceptional political and cultural development, the powerful Duke Hrvoje Vukcic Hrvatinic wished the catacombs to be made as the final resting place for the Hrvatic family

The place is added on UNESCO Tentative List under the natural and architectural ensemble of Jajce.
