Back in 1997 I bought my first Mac to be able to create panoramas, but only since 2001 I began to work professionally with cylindricals. In 2003 I created my first test spherical panoramas with the by then much used combination Nikon coolpix/FC E8. I intensified testing with a Canon 300D later that year. Today I use a Canon 20D which soon has to be replaced again. Camera techniques and software solutions are quickly advancing and open up for ever new opportunities to shoot panoramas.

My preferred scenes are related to historic stuff.
