'Costa Brava' is the name given to a specific coastal region of Catalonia in northeastern Spain. Its name means like rough or wild coast, more related to the mountains reaching the sea than a brave Mediterranean Sea.
Along this coast, there is a trail called 'Camí de ronda' that allows you to walk along it. This is not a full 'trail' because there are many places that have been urbanized, but anyway there are many stretches very beautiful.
In this case the panorama has been taken between the beaches of Sant Pol and sa Conca, shortly before Platja d'Aro, where the Costa Brava trail was built between an exclusive set of villages and the sea. This was the original idea of this trail, that was carried out between 20 and 30 years of the twentieth century.
I've selected this panorama for three reasons: it's a very beautiful place, it's an example of making a panorama beside the sea (usually half panorama is boring), looking for a specific corner that fills your panoramic field of view with many elements, close to you.
And finally because it makes me to remember the beautiful experience of walking around 40 kms in two days, from S´Agaro to the Parador de Aiguablava (stopping at night at Calella de Palafrugell) with my son and my wife. More panoramas about our walk at Camins de ronda at Costa Brava
