This panorama was taken on 1:24 pm on Saturday, December 22, just 16 minutes after the winter solstice. It was taken in the spot between the Square dedicated to Sam Pollock and "Galleria" designed by famous architect Santiago Calatrava. Sam Pollock was a legendary general manager in the National Hockey League and member of Hockey Hall of Fame. He a was the Montreal Canadiens' general manager for nine Stanley Cups.

Several other heritage buildings beside "Hockey Hall of Fame", visible in the panorama, that survived the Great Fire of 1904 have been restored to their original 1850's grandeur and incorporated into the street-level design. Place is very popular specially during the winter months. It is incorporated in the network of interconnecting underground spaces, the 10-kilometer labyrinth of pathways linking office buildings, hotels, entertainment and shopping in the downtown Toronto.

I was hoping to see more people here in this festive time but they were somewhere else not willing to cooperate in my "Wrinkle" panorama. More panoramas from my collection of over 160 squares all over the world you can visit at my web site: http://urbansquares.com.
