Leaving The Tobago Cays for her home port of Port Elizabeth, Admiralty Bay, Bequia The Friendship Rose sails through the outer reef into deep water.The Tobago Cays are a collection of islands and reefs in the southern Caribbean. A nature reserve and very popular destination for sailors and divers made famous as one of the locations for the first Pirates of the Caribbean films. Petit Tabac island, just outside of the main reef, was the desert island where Captain Jack and Elizabeth were marooned and she burnt the rum to attract attention - thanks to CGI no palm trees where harmed in the filming!

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
It was a hard choice deciding what to enter for this Event but I finally decided on this pano, partly because it was such a fantastic experience, but also because I was extremely pleased with the results from stitching a fairly complicated scene. My 360 P template gave a good starting point but I did quite a lot of work with layered images to get everything to align. There is one bad point that I couldn't fix - see if you can find it - hint think of the Indian Rope Trick!
