--------------- Introduction of CHTF2008

CHTF, No. 1 fair for science and technology in China, integrates the achievement transactions, product display, high-level forum, merchant attraction for projects as well as cooperation and exchange. By organic combination of the government, enterprises, universities & colleges, research institutes, investors and intermediaries, CHTF provides the domestic and foreign businessmen with a fast track for projects, technologies, products, markets, funds and talents. After ten years of nurture and development, it has now become not only the biggest scientific and technological fair in both scale and influence but also an important window for opening up in China's hi-tech sector, playing a more and more important role in facilitating the commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of hi-tech achievements and the trans-national and trans-regional economic and technological communication and cooperation.

CHTF 2008 will be held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (SZCEC) during October 12-17, 2008. With a total exhibition area of 130,000 square meters, it consists of such 6 components as Transactions of Hi-tech Achievements, Show of High-tech Products, Forum, super-Super Special Events, Hi-tech Human and Intellectual Resources Exchange and a year-round Fair. Taking "Scientific technology improves the people's living conditions and innovation changes the world" as the theme, it exhibits the achievements in China made by independent scientific and technological innovation in 30 years after the reform and opening-up, absorbs all innovative factors and improves the transactions of hi-tech achievement and products.
