while on my Summer vacation me and a friend went on a 2x 2h30m travel (250km) to get to an abandoned mining zone in South-East Portugal. The zone has some pools with red water. The "if I put my hand there only the bones will come out" kind of water. We spent some time there waiting for the moon to set and get a clear milky way. After the moon was gone I thought "man.... we should clearly see Andrómeda from here. so I pointed my 35mm to the area searching for Andrómeda galaxy and I went to do some shots for stacking the I got a superb falling star right in my frame. Lucky I was using 35mm :D . Then I made a 33000px full pano and catalogued all the constellations in KrPano.
Next thing the sun was rising and we came back home to... sleep all day :D
One of the best skies I ever had. Hope you like it.
