Just testing my capabilities was a necessary task for me in the middle of December.

After some time in hospital starting at the end of October where I also missed the deadline for the last event I needed some more aftercare which took place in a specialized center in the area of Bad Tölz, a town located directly at the river Isar and very close to some nice parts of the Alps. I surely managed to bring my camera, or more precisely a minimal set of equipment to enable me to shoot some panoramas. Naturally, it is difficult to shoot in health care surroundings for reasons of protecting patients from invasion of their physical privacy.

So to test my abilities how to perform the whole process of shooting a full spherical panorama, I visited a place that I was able to reach with a short walk. Here I found a spot where I tried to capture a nice view of the landscape around the city of Bad Tölz just without a tripod. There is a famous Calvary hill that also offers a magnificent outlook at the nearby mountain groups. With some more training, I will surely be able to hike these mountains again in the near future!
