Wetland / Mokraď — Udurná, Slovakia, Banská Bystrica

A wetland is an area of land whose soil is saturated with moisture either permanently or seasonally. Such areas may also be covered partially or completely by shallow pools of water.

In this panorama you can see a small wetland ecosystem of local importance in the Údurná river basin (Radvaň housing estate on the outskirts) in Banská Bystrica. Greenery was maintained even in hot summer.

Mokraď je územie, ktorého pôda je celoročne, alebo sezónne podmáčaná. Takéto územia môžu byť čiastočne, alebo úplne pokryté plytkými vodnými plochami.

Na tejto panoráme vidieť malý mokraďový ekosystém lokálneho významu v povodí potoka Údurná (na okraji sídliska Radvaň) v Banskej Bystrici. Zeleň sa tu udrží aj v horúcom lete.
