In this area wild daffodils are just everywhere. Covering large open fields in swathes of yellow and providing very welcome areas of colour at the side of roads and motorways. I should really try to visit here more than just once a year, but it's really the flowers that keep me coming back.I stepped well off the path to put myself in the middle of the daffodils, they really brighten things up at this time of year when the majority of things are just shades of brown.
