Atop Mine's View in Baguio. So named because the place used to be a mining site.

Baguio is known as "the City of Pines" for its many pine trees and as "the summer capital of the Philippines" due to its cool climate and atmosphere. The city lies on a plateau 1400 meters above sea level.

Built by the Americans during the time of Philipines' colonization as a recreational and administrative center. Masterplanned by Daniel Burnham for which a park was named after him.

Famous attractions include Camp John Hay, a recreational golf course facility; Philippine Military Academy, foremost military school of the country; and several religious pilgrimage sites.

The city today play host to numerous events and festivals; notably being the Panagbenga, an annual flower festival wherein floats were massively decorated with flowers. Another being the strawberry festival, wherein various concoctions (straberry wines, muffins, juices, ice creams, etc.) made from strawberries are on display.
