Caption
A photo exhibition by the visually impaired at the Academy of Fine Arts. An idea followed through by Partho Bhowmick with students of Victoria Memorial School for the Blind in Mumbai. As Partho says “Photography by the visually impaired reveals that a photograph can be made successfully in the mind as much as by the eyes, free from the techniques and rules followed by sighted photographers.”

Through the 3 open doors of the other galleries can be seen “normal” art in the form of paintings of different styles.
