It was in Times Square and some of us gathered for a local NYC pano group meeting on a traffic island just south of 46th Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue. Below us, standing on NYC Subway ventilation gratings, was emanating the acoustic humming sounds of an art installation called Max Neuhaus’s Times Square.
The giant Kodak billboard over the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel is now gone. At that time, its theme was "Sharing". The marquee read: "Share Moments. Share Life". Kodak is another great imaging company like Polaroid and Xerox that gave us great products but now no longer seems to touch us everyday in life as it used to.
