The members of a religious group always form a special kind of community. One of these religious communities is formed by the members of the Bahá'í Faith. Despite the relatively small community, the members of the Bahá'í Faith already built a House of Worship on every continent. For this event I took a picture of the european House of Worship in Langenhain.Trivia

- The diameter of the central dome is 28 m
- The diameter of the outer ring is 48 m
- The height of the dome is 28 m
- The laying of the foundation stone was on Nov. 20th, 1960
- The consecration of the building was on July 4th, 1964
Making Of
This is a multirow panorama which was shot with a Novoflex VR PRO system. I used a 18 mm lens at a digital SLR with a crop factor of 1,5. So I had to deal with a 35 mm equivalent of 24 mm. This led to 10 shots in the middle row, and 8 shots in the top and bottom row (orientation horizontally). An additional shot was used for the zenith. For the nadir I moved the tripod aside and took an additional shot which was transformed manually in Photoshop CS2 in a cubic projection of the project.Links
