It is elevated 10 meters (33 feet) above the water level of the river Maas. You may not be impressed by 10 meters but considering the fact that the Netherlands is almost flat, one can say that it is quite a considerable elevation.
The "Hoeg Brögk" is meant for pedestrians and bikers and they use it frequently to go to and from the centre of Maastricht to the new quarter "Céramique".
In addition it is nice to walk here, look at the beautiful designs in Stainless Steel and just to enjoy the view.
In the background next to the two people is the "Servaas Brug" and in the opposite direction is the "John F Kennedybridge".
I used a monopod and made 4 shots around and 2 down. Stitched with Ptgui and for editing I used Raw shooter, Picture Publisher, some Photoshop ,Photomatix and Pano2QTVR.
