Caption
The Royal Gorge is the highest suspension bridge in the world. Built in 1929 at a cost of $350,000.00, it is 1053 feet above the Arkansas River. The bridge is 1,260 feet long and 18' wide. Each of the two suspension cables consist of 2100 strands of wire.

The Royal Gorge bridge does not function as a connection between two roads or highways. Instead, it is the main attraction of the "Royal Gorge Bridge and Park" theme park. Other attractions in the park include an aerial tramway across the gorge, an incline railway to the bottom, a wildlife park, and the Royal Rush Skycoaster thrill ride.

Equipment
Nikon D100 digital camera, Nikkor 10.5mm DX fisheye lens, Manfrotto 303SPH spherical panorama head, Nikon Capture and Realviz Stitcher software.
