Spanning the Straits of Mackinac, The Mackinac Bridge at 26,372 Ft. (five miles) it's the third longest suspension bridge in the USA. Connecting Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsula. Open to traffic on November 1st 1957, by June 1998 the 100 millionths crossing took place.Seen here from the Mackinaw City Historic Pathway.
