We are usually calling the thing of Akashi Kaikyo Bridge Pearl Bridge. On the main cable of a suspension bridge, 1092 special lighting equipments which can make all colors with red, blue, and a green combination are installed, and Bridge who changes a figure by expression of light by the four seasons and time zone directs the sea of night romantically. For this reason, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is called Pearl Bridge.

Pearl Bridge -- the full length of 3911m, and 2 -- main -- between towers -- 1991m -- main -- a height of 293.3m of a tower and the height from a sea surface to aroad surface were the No.1 suspension bridges of about 96m and all 6 lanes of the world, it was opened for traffic at 5:00 p.m. on April 5, 1998, and Kobe-city (Tarumi) and Naruto-city of Awaji-Island - were connected in about 90km suspension bridge

The island which is visible to the other side of a bridge is Awaji-Island
