East Passenger Bus Terminal (TAPO)
Mexico city has four large bus terminals located in the four cardinal points. The East Passenger Bus Terminal (TAPO) designed by Arg. Juan Jose Diaz Infante, was inaugurated on November 21, 1978. It is located in the east part of the city, near the Legislative Palace and the Federal Justice Palace, 1.6 km from the Historic Center downtown, and near the international airport, Benito Juarez.

This transportation station provides service to 14 East and South states of the country and transports an average of 2,750,000 passengers a month, more than 91,600 daily passengers. There are 3,000 buses that come and go a day and their installations cover an area of 89,979 square meters.

La Ciudad de México tiene cuatro grandes terminales de autobuses de pasajeros ubicadas en los cuatro puntos cardinales. La Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Oriente (TAPO)., diseñada por el Arq. Juan José Díaz Infante, fue Inaugurada el 21 de Noviembre de 1978. Está ubicada en el sector oriente de la ciudad, frente a los edificios del Palacio Legislativo y del Palacio de Justicia Federal, a 1.6 kms. del Centro Histórico y cerca del aeropuerto internacional Benito Juárez.

Esta estación de transporte da servicio a 14 Estados del Sur y Oriente del país y transporta un promedio de 2,750,000 pasajeros al mes, más de 91,600 diariamente. Llegan y salen más de 3,000 autobuses al día y sus instalaciones cubren un área de 89,979 m2.
