The pano opens showing the 110 metre dam wall. Kouris dam is the largest of a network of 107 dams in Cyprus, It lies at an altitude of 250m and collects the water delivered by the rivers Kouris, Limnatis and Kryos.

Completed in September 1988 it has only overflowed once, on March 4, 2004. The local people camped for days beside the dam to witness and celebrate the end of several years of drought. Sadly, as shown in the pano the water level is now very low.

The dam is part of the Southern Conveyor Project and carries water from the mountains in the SW side of Cyprus to the gentler SE part of the island, over a distance of 120 Km.
Equipment: Taken with a Canon EOS 400D, digital camera, with an EFS 18-55mm lens. Mounted on a tripod but without any pano-head. Stitched with Realviz Stitcher 3.1
