Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridge

One of 26 covered bridges located in Lancaster County which all are built of wood. Typically most are painted red or some form of red and the Hunsecker’s mill bridge is one of the longest ones in the County and unusual since it's a weathered natural color. It still handles vehicle traffic and quite often you will be able to hear the clicking of a local Amish buggy rolling through the bridge. The Hunsecker's Mill Bridge is one span Burr Arch with a total length of 180 feet and carries Hunsecker Road over the Conestoga River. It was built in 1848 by Joseph Russell and this historic bridge was reconstructed in 1948.
