Location:

The Ponte Gobbo (also known as Ponte Vecchio or Ponte del Diavolo) is a historic arch bridge in the Italian town of Bobbio, province of Piacenza, spanning the Trebbia River. The bridge was built in the 7th century by monks of the nearby monastery of San Colombano on the foundations of a Roman predecessor bridge.

Visbility:

In the summer of 2022, the great dryness becomes visible. There is almost no water flowing in the river. According to climate researchers, great droughts will become more frequent - if not the rule.

Climate change:

The river can then possibly be crossed without a bridge - which has been necessary since Roman times
