The Camera Never Lies
Scala dei Turchi, Sicily, Italy

Spherical panoramic photography is, in itself, a little deceptive. A panoramic photographer is almost like a vampire: you do not see them in mirrors, they cast no shadows, and, when necessary, they can easily disappear from the image with a little retouching.
I took this panorama in Sicily, at a place called "White Rock". At sunset, there were quite a lot of people around. While stitching the panorama, I noticed a couple sitting romantically back to back.
So I simply removed everyone else.
A crowded place became a quiet landscape for two - a moment that never actually existed.
But the camera never lies. Especially after some good retouching.
