Photographer in IJmuiden/Netherlands. Former press photographer specialized in emergency incidents. Also corporate photographer for different companies, including during the construction of the Sea Lock IJmuiden (for ships to Amsterdam), the largest lock in the world. Now mainly retired.

In my younger years as a hobby photographer I worked with analog camera's from Kodak ClickClack to the Nikon F2 Photomic AS and my own darkroom. After more then 20 years without camera's I started again, now digital with the Canon 20D as the first serious camera. Parttime for the local newspaper, later fulltime for local and national newspapers, websites and television stations. Now I work with Olympus/OM-System camera's.

Working for commercial companies (also 360) followed with a photo book about the new sea lock as a big highlight.360 is currently done with the Insta360 X3.

Now a pensioner, after a long time of being sick I am exploring other forms of photography as well as re-finding photo's in my massive archive.
