After the storm, the calm ! How we can sense this when we walk over land steeped in history, as at Longues-sur-Mer, one of the last vestiges of the WW II Atlantic Wall.

I have chosen to illustrate this contrasting subject through my painting and drawing. On the one hand an impressionist pastoral vision, but with the oppressive intrusion of the German gun battery.

Après la tempête, vient le calme. Que ressentir lorsque nous nous promenons à Longue-sur-Mer, un des dernirs vestiges du Mur de l'Atlantique et de la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale ?

J'ai choisi d'illustrer ce sujet par la peinture et le dessin. D'un côté, une vision champêtre à la manière impressionniste, et s'immise de manière oppressante la batterie d'artillerie allemande.
