The Twelve-Column Hall in the New Hermitage is situated in the corner of the building and usually temporary exhibitions are conducted here. Let me introduce the panorama taken in May 2015, at a time when one exhibition has been ended and the installation of the next exhibition had not yet begun - without any equipment and without visitors. It would be no exaggeration to call this panorama historical, since the official website of the State Hermitage Museum reports that the Twelve-Column Hall "currently closed for renovations".

The next time I have met unusual museum environment in January 2018, when the State Hermitage marked the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. At that time I published panorama of the Jordan Staircase for WWP event "Once Upon A Time". Three other panoramas were published at viewat.org, but over time they had to be moved to Google Maps.

Long hallway with European tapestries (hall № 303) leads from entrance on the square side to Rotunda, and it is decorated by red banners with revolutionary slogans.

Rotunda (hall № 156) displays posters, newspapers and magazines printed in 1917-1920. The Small Dining-Room (hall № 188) (where the Provisional Government was arrested by the Bolsheviks in 1917) is one of the next rooms.

In the Jordan Gallery (or Rastrelli Gallery) on the ground floor artistic lighting is installed, walls and pillars of the gallery are mantled by large reproductions and red banners of 100 years's prescription.
