I’ve been searching during a very long time this panorama - and others - shot in Seoul, thinking that I was surely dreaming that I shot it once. It should not been existing at all. The CF memory card used for shooting has been lost for many years and, therefore, all the images were totally invisible.

In fact, because of the low number of pictures left for using bracket-shot on the memory card that I was using, I took another one to shoot this panorama and kept it apart. It was not a good idea, and certainly the best way of loosing it.

That’s what happened !

In 2022 on the occasion of a move, I found in a box some very miscellaneous photographical stuff, such as filters, 4x5” film holders and 4x5” camera spare parts, Ektachrome slides - lot of things for museum - a few memory cards; I sincerely thought that all the pictures had been saved on hards disks, so I completely neglected them.

Sometimes chance is favorable… One day, but I really don’t know the reason why, I decided to “explore” them again: the first ones were “empty” or damaged, refusing to show any pictures. After the third one I was about to give up this research, but I continued and discovered on the fifth, the forgotten images, lost after nine years.

So it is, panorama is existing and can now be viewed.
