The new town hall is set in a huge park with century-old lime and maple trees; it is housed in a building dating from the 19th century. A small lake behind the town hall is home to swans and many species of duck giving the area a woodland feel deep in the heart of the city.

Prior to this location, the administrative services used a smaller mansion, also dating back to the same time.

They moved in 2006
