The first Buddhist stupa of its type in Latin America, a monument to the border between the ordinary mind of a human and the illuminated mind of a Buddha.

The day of its inauguration and consecration by the XVII Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje in Avandaro, México (16 and 17 March 2006).

Signs were observed, considered by the present Lamas, favorable and miraculous: During the moment of the consecration 9 black birds flew over making circles at a great height, a rainbow halo was formed around the sun. In the image we can see the end of this atmospheric phenomenon after the Gyalwa Karmapa gave his final circumvallation to the Stupa before leaving the location.
