Construction just began on the El Mirage Wash Basin Project just across the street from where I live so I didn't have to travel far to find my machine contribution. They plan on improving the existing water retention pond, installing storm drain pipes, adding a 60-inch pipe culvert under one adjacent street and finally landscaping the whole area with a walking path so it can also be enjoyed as a community park. The first phase is reshaping the land using these large earth movers. The whole project is scheduled to take approximately a year to complete.
