Colourful Cyclamen soak up the early sunlight as it streams through the windows of the Victorian Corridor in the Winter Gardens, or as renamed in 2001, the David Welsh Winter Gardens after one of the most influential Director of Parks in Aberdeen.

The Winter Gardens opened in 1970 to replace the original Gardens built in 1899. The original Gardens were demolished in 1969 after they suffered extensive roof damage during strong gales.
