Along Independence Pass (Colorado Highway 82), just outside of Aspen, is one of our favorite routes to tour during the early fall. A combination of pine, aspen and ground cover provides a beautiful environment to panograph. This shot is just a few yards away from the road.

As an alternate for this event, I considered using this pano: www.photosurveyor.com/panos/325/001.htm

This fit the theme of color and was my first single-shot mirrorball pano. The quality isn't up to my liking, but this is the largest pano I can produce with the small steel ball I recently aquired.
