Their lives may have ended but their spirit and memory will live on.

Minto Park located in downtown Ottawa is the site of the Ottawa Women's Monument.
The Enclave consists of large stone with the inscription “To honour and to grieve all women abused and murdered by men. Envision a world without violence where women are respected and free.”
In front there are thirty eight chiseled stones with the names of murdered woman etched on them. The monument was dedicated in 1992.
An annual memorial service is held at the monument on International Women's Day in March to remember the Ottawa women and the victims of the École Polytechnique massacre in Montréal in 1989.
Amazing Grace performed by Maria Antonakos. Recorded by Bob Doidge at Grant Avenue Studio in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
